HOW TO CROCHET SHOE (kids size 11)
LANCE WORKS (5YRS OLD)
I do need to post this here as when he grow older, he will see his stuff and what he did when he was just a toddler.
@5yrs old, TK Class at Miller School
He painted this last month (December 2015) at school. Its getting better than before. ON this one, he said the people on left was us. Mom, dad and him. We have apple tree that has falling leaves and fruits. It was raining last week so he said, its just a dark clouds(purple) but no rain and sun is out. Ofcourse our house.
Draw this last year too (don't remember the month but surely 2015)
Pretty proud on his drawing... So you know who's on his drawing... Mom, him and Daddy. We all have a happy face. Our house is kinda small lol... and we have a bird house ... i love the tree
spaghetti sauce on his face haha
He hand me this one today (Jan. 21, 2016). He said a ladder to the volcano haha

HOW TO CROCHET A FLOWER
I just finished one foot for my shoe project
and thinking I should add some decoration. Since I always use youtube as my guide, click here . There's 3 videos for the whole flower. The reason why I put it here in my blog so next time I don't need to watch again..here's my own language hahaha next time will put pic every stage...
Terminologies hehe
SngCro = single crochet
DblCro = double crochet
Ch = chain
SlipSticth = to lock or close
Make a 6 chain
then make a ring close it with a slipstitch
4 chains
single crocket
2 chain
CONTINUE till you made 8holes - then slipstitch to close then 1ch
making the FIRST LAYER 5 PETALS
5PETALS
1SngCro > 1ch > 2 DblCro & x2 > 1Ch > 1SngCro
skip some holes, key here is just to make 5 petals only...do the math lol
SECOND LAYER 8 PETALS
1Ch > turn the flower Over > on the first hook do > 1SlipStitch > 5Ch > (1DblCro + 2Ch)x8 or 7 lol not sure hahaha but here's the pic
lets do the petals...
start in 1loop by making (1SngCro > 3DblCro >1Ch>1SngCro) x 8
back view
front view
THIRD LAYER 8 PETALS
Turn upside down again then make 1Ch
For the loopies (8 loops)
SlipStitch on the first spoke > 6Ch > (1DblCro on the next spoke + 3Ch ) x 8
then 1Ch
for the petals
turn around your flower
(1SngCro > 1Ch > 4DblCro > 1Ch > 1SngCro) x 8
and here's your flower ..back view
front view...and here's your flower

SWEET AND SOUR FISH
I've been searching for recipes last week as I feel I like to cook again and my favorite Filipino Restaurant here will be close on January 2- 16. Damn! we will be hungry lol.
I am trying to use the stock that we have here at the house. I found a Halibut Fish (this drive me crazy, my Mom-in-law bought this for $25 geeeezzzz expensive). Good thing I found this Recipe from kawalingpinoy.com . This website has a lot of good recipe which makes me drool.
I made some changes and I use "tantiyahan" lol so If you want an exact measurement, visit that website
Ingredients (use my stock here at the house)
Halibut Fish (cut into pieces)
Soy Sause (i used just enough for the fish)
3 kalamansi ( got this from Mom's friend, doesn't looks like calamansi as it is orange but taste are same)
1 beaten egg
flour
salt and pepper
oil
red bell pepper ( I used just half and saved the other half)
onion (half also)
white vinegar
ketchup
brown sugar
salt
cornstarch
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, kalamansi and fish. Marinate for atlas 30 minutes.
2. In a bowl, place egg. In another bowl, combine flour, salt and pepper. I dredge the fish into the beaten egg and then to the flour to coat. (I miss the recipe that you have to dredge to flour, then egg then flour again). I always use my left hand on the egg then right hand on the flour so it won't stick on
my fingers. Ito na yung pics after ko na madredge...
3. In a pan over medium heat, put oil (tantiya ulit) Fried the battered fish until brown. Put it in a paper towel to absorbed excess oil.
4. In a bowl, combine pineapple juice, vinegar, ketchup, sugar and salt. Stir then add cornstarch and stir again until dissolved then set aside.
5. In a pan, over medium heat with a little bit of oil, add the onion then bell pepper until half cooked. remove from the pan and set aside.
6. In a pan, boil the mixture, whisking regularly until thickened
7. Add bell pepper and onions, cook about 1min or until tender. Add fish fillet and toss gently.
and that's our lunch today with hot rice.
