OUR INTERVIEW DAY (JULY 20, 2015)

This is the day! Before 20th, I always feel butterflies in my stomach specially last night lol. I kept saying I need to breath this out lol. I want this OVERRRR!

I planned to wake up at 3am as we will came here from Caloocan, plus BREAKFAST is a must for me and Lance.

We arrived at around 6:00am and already has a long line, take note 4 longs lines. A lady approached us and asked what visa are we getting and what was our appointment time. Told her 7:30 and she walked me on the right side. The lady showed me the list of things that arent allowed inside. I read it one by one (although I already knew this) and told her I dont have those. She also asked me if I have 2x2 picture.

The guards call all 6:30 appointment which already has a line so on, then they call the 7:30 appointment and I was there lol. The lady who works inside told us to ready the appointment letter and DS-160 together with our passports. Another lady put the stickers at the back of our passports then I was told to get inside.

Inside, you will put your things on the conveyor for checking. We were advised to leave the crayons, aw! my poor boy get a little upset. I just calm him and told him we will get it back after the interview.
We followed the people that goes to the TICKET BOOTH (already forgot lol) here, she will give you a number and where to go next. Ofcourse, she will ask for the fullname and birthdate, how many on the petition. My number was 5014 and she told me to drop the appt letter at window 38. We went inside the middle door that has immigrant arrow. I looked for window 38 but the lady asked for it and asked my sons age...I was advised to line on step 1.

STEP 1: I read whats on the step 1 and it says "DATA ENTRY". They will asked for your DS-160. Lance was asked his name and age. He asked me my fullname, birthdate and petitioner's name. Told me to go to next step

STEP 2: FINGERPRINTING. Again, since I have a child with me. I didn't go the the last line. The lady showed me were to line-up. On this step, you will put your left 4 fingers on the scanner, then 4 fingers on your right hand.. then two thumbs together. She asked me to lift Lance and she asked how old is he and what is his name. She said that Lance cant fingerprint as he is just 4, coz its for 14 above. She told me to go to STEP2B

STEP2B. PRE-SCREENING. Actually its not just B.. Its A-D. A if the end of your number is 0,1,2,3. B if 4,5,6. C if 7,8,9 (not really sure but its just like that, remember i have a short memory). D  is for those ON-HOLD as they have to wait for their names to be called.
In this step, You will need to prepare all the documents listed on the small piece of paper that the ticket booth provide, and here are the list

The lady here was so jolly and we talked like that we already met each other lol, she asked Lance his name and age. And she said she also has a nephew named Lance and also 4 years old.
She asked for the sealed envelop came from SLECS. I also told her that Lance medical was sent here as per SLECs and she said yeah, they got it already. She said she will open it to arrange my papers.
then she started asking questions after she scanned the barcode. She first asked my fullname, age. the last time we met. Did i travel outside US, for how long. Where did we met. When was the relationship started. She asked if my contact number is still working.(this is what i remember for now, will add if i remember more)
She told me to proceed on STEP 4

STEP 4: INTERVIEW. The lady again asked what Lance's age and told her 4 and she said to line there, wherein we can see the interviewer togther with the applicant and you can hear they say. Didn't see failed but just yellow card means they are asking for additional documents or administrative processing. Didn't witness any crying here lol. I also noticed that I am calm. I dont feel nervous at all. Here, the consul will ask you to read the oath and will have you sign on your DS160. I was assigned to a lady consul which is very serious. She asked me to read the oath. I choose english. She asked for my fullname, age, petitioner's name. She asked Lance his name, age, birthday and what is his mommy's name. My son's was so shy so I answered it.
How many times my fiancee had been married?
How'd we met?
When was our relationship started?
The last time we see each other
What was my job in Gtmo?
When I started working there?
What year I was in Gtmo?

She asked me if she will grant me a visa, what i will do next?
then she asked for pictures but i gave him the whole folder of my proof of relationship.
She told me to go to

STEP 5: RELEASING. the consul didn't tell me if i pass or failed. so I expect I passed. In this step, i was asked for my fullname and birthdate. He asked if I was always the muse of the class lol,
the best thing he said was my visa will be delivered.

so i passedddd yeheyyy, its only 10am. So we've been there from 6am to 10am only.
